 05-30-21, Sunday (partial) We're heading to Limassol this morning! The bus leaves from the marina at 10:30 and I don't think we have time for breakfast and to check out, drop the big suitcase, collect our voucher for the nights we not staying here, and walk to the marina for the bus.  Ammar assures me I'm wrong.  And wouldn't you know it, he's right again!  He sends me up to breakfast ahead of him while he gathers his things, and he gets upstairs just as I'm enjoying the last of my hot chocolate. (A change of pace from yesterday's cappuccino!) A quick trip back to the room to collect everything and it's down to the desk where Ammar tells our new friend that there is two million dollars in the suitcase, so she needs to keep a watch on it.  She says we should know that when we get back the suitcase will be gone...and so will she! It's a short walk down to the promenade and the bus stop, and, sure enough, there's a green bus there, waiting!  There ...

The Endless Day

 06-06-21, Sunday I can't believe it's already our last day!  I have to leave for the airport around 1:30 tomorrow morning, so there's really no point in going to bed.  We go to breakfast earlier than usual and when we come back I start to wrestle with the Greek locator form again.  Ammar suggests that I try it on my phone.  That makes no sense to me, but, wouldn't you know it?  It works! There are some glitches due to a lack of logic on the designer's part and I get some help dealing with those, and pretty soon I get a confirmation email!  I'll get the ever popular QR code at midnight. The recessed lighting in our suite is all this delicious shade of blue. The next fun project is getting everything in our suitcases! That is a little easier than it might have been because Ammar's find at the charity shop is really quite spacious! We're about as organized as we can be at this point, so yay for us! Time to get out of the room and enjoy the great outdoors...

We're off to Paphos!

 06-01-21, Tuesday Living with a coffee drinker eventually takes it toll!  But you sure can get a lot done if you don't sleep! And you get to watch the city wake up! The last of the fireworks I guess they are apartments! Wakey Wakey! I'm all packed and ready to decamp a couple of hours before I plan to wake Ammar! As it happens he awakens on his own. Yay!  go down to breakfast while he has his coffee and gets packed.  I think he probably had cold pizza for breakfast, which I would ordinarily have thought a great idea;  but I remember what's waiting for me downstairs! Yes, that is Nutella on that mini crepe! When I'm finished I take the rest of my cappuccino back upstairs and we enjoy the time we have before leaving for the bus to Paphos.  The website says it leaves at 12:30, so there is no rush.  Eventually we go downstairs to pay our bill and have the front desk call us a taxi. There is a bus station of sorts.  At least there is a coffee machine ...
